Replace Leather Seat Covers

So I just won an auction for a new set of leather seat covers for the entire car for $299! I'm stoked!

Mine are in pretty good shape other than the rear headrests are dry and the thigh panel of my front drivers seat is starting to look a bit rough. It's not tearing yet, but it is cracking and I'm sure that at some point the cracks will go through.

My question is, has anyone else removed the stock leather or cloth and installed new covers themselves? I saw someone had a set of katzkins installed a while ago. I know that you need to remove the seats completely and that there are hog rings holding the leather covers to the frame. I would just like a better idea of what I'm getting into. I feel like this is a project that I should be able to complete fairly quickly based on the youtube videos I have seen for other cars.

If anyone else has this problem, I have begun my installation and it is stupid easy. If anyone would like to know I can post pics which will clearly show how to do this.

Yes, please do post a how-to.

I need to get mine done, but would like to spend as little as possible.

Did you take pics?

I have some pics. Most of this is so self explanatory that it's ridiculous. The only part that was kind of annoying to figure out was how to remove the back seat flip down panels since I'd never done it before and I still haven't gotten the rear bottom panel to clip back down in those idiotic clips they used on this car.
