New from Kentucky
So i just bout a 2001 olds alero coupe. It has the 2.4l, dont know much about them so i dont know what base level it is. so any info would really help thanks.
Also my uncle has a 2001 alero four door with the same 2.4l as far as i can tell they are exactly the same except of mine being a 2 door and his being a four door lol.

First off welcome, second, I cant really agree with which one is better... I have blown up both... the 2.4 in my cavalier, disintegrated crank and bearings, 3400 in the alero, spun bearings due to LIMG  the only alero motor I havent tried is the 2.2 eco... but my best friend has blown his up twice... lol... first time was bottom end, second was top end... so good luck with your car!!!

is this the wrong time to say i attended the university of louisville?? haha. but my dad's a hardcore UK fan... who works at indiana university. but still sports a UK license plate on the front.
