Fog Light Trim

After months of sitting due to a a cracked oil pressure sensor bung, we finally got the Alero going again and I'm trying to get it all detailed up.

I noticed the trim near the drivers side fog light appears to be missing something compared to the passenger side, is this normal for the driver side or is something missing?

Yeah there's supposed to be something there.

It's not a big deal to go without it. I haven't had that piece in my car since about 2004.

^^ Doubt that. That metal right there is not thick or strong enough to pull 3400 lbs of Alero.

It was there but now its missing. If it bothers you, I'm sure you can find that part at the local U-pull-it

believe me or not, but that is, and this is where the tow hook for the front goes.
and yes, it is enough to pull an Alero with a rope, tow-bar, or tow-hook to get in the wrecker flat-bed.
