alright, so I just got some sping tech's installed a couple days ago w/brand new monroe sensatracs. and I have this rattle coming from the right rear wheel well.. it sounds like something is loose?

the rears are fully aligned, caster, toe, and camber.

the guy who installed it said I have to be careful when I jack the car up because the springs don't stay tight like the fronts do, and can slide out of position. anyways, the car hasnt been jacked up at all since the install.

anyone else here have springtechs and can chime in?

fronts shouldn't. rear right should LOL. Yea, 2fst4u, it gets annoying. It will only happen when lateral stress is put on the tire, i.e. TURNING.

i have the same problem on my alero. I put intrax springs on sensatrac struts and i have the same rattle in the rear. I did all the work myself too installing the springs and struts and doin the alignment since i work at a dealership. It seems to me they rattle because my rear springs don't have the rubber insulators on the bottom of the springs like the fronts do. i'm not sure if u could put some kind of rubber insulator underneath the spring to fix the problem.

alright, well I finally tried getting the bolt on top of the strut mount tightened.. didn't do anything. The sound is coming from the washer underneath that bolt. does this setup need spacers or something? I thought the only struts that needed those were KYB's

so is there supposed to be rubbers underneath the springs in the rear cause mine didn't have any when i took it apart. I did notice my swaybar bushings in the rear are pretty worn and could be making most of the noise.

there was a little plastic piece, the bushing might be an issues too, now that its dropped, more stress on the bushing that might be already on there way out.
