snow needs to go awayyyy
tomorrow i'll hopefully finish up my gauges wiring (still need to install reverse-glow main gauges, oil pressure gauge/pod, and my little white LED units for the footwell lighting)
i'll be picking up some BFGoodrich KDW2 tires once it stops snowing so much.

Any thoughts on cleaning up/re-finishing the mounting plates for your STB?

Just noticed em. Ugh! They need work. Lol
Also looks like you need a neverdone gauge pod ion. That gauge doesnt look right down there in that cubby. But thats just me.

Yes, they'll be either reconstructed from scratch or powdercoated black. That's on the very soon agenda. Here's the majority of the agenda:
- finish wiring alarm/keyless entry
- 3" full exhaust (vibrant resonator and dynomax or walker quiet flow)
- manual window lever trim, passenger windshield trim
- paint wiper arms
- install recaro seats
- mill front wheel spacers thinner to be more flush instead of mexi-flush
- brand new BFG KDW2 tires

what level you think? i don't really want to have to rip it off immediately and pay fines but it does look good.
i was thinking just 35% all around. 20% would be neat but not sure how dark it looks on the alero.
I like the darkness on my Saab but not sure exactly what VLT % it is.

i had 20 in the back side windows and rear window. kept the front side legal at 35%. not a bad look in my opinion. dark but doesnt scream harassment.

has to be the same, can't stand mismatch. i'll probably stick with 35. or i could have the shop test the saab's VLT and i'll match that.

from the looks of it, I would say the saab is between 35-40%... It is just enough to stop the glare and provide a good amount of tinting... I think it will also look darker on the dark blue of your car, probably just the optical illusion, but still...

The Saab looks 35. But here is the best pics i could find. My grand am had dark interior so that made it look darker. The alero is beige so i will go with 20 on it.
My grand am was 35, but the camera makes it seem darker
Here is 20
35
And just because. My wagon. None on the driver window, 35 on the passenger window, 3% on the back, 5% on the 5th door.
