ya it was just a temp fix to stop the leak long enough to do the first engine break in im fixing the leak tomorrow.Ya nate we had to go in with a file and fix all the splines  but it work now so its all set. |

hmmm.......interesting, guess i'll have to wait for hime to tear it apart to hear what happened.......seriously that sucks.....if that happens to me when i put my boosted motor in, or if something happens to the 5 speed when i am first driving it, i might just coast it off a cliff with me in it.....

no lol the silicon was on the outside of the piece just to stop the leak long enough for me to get the o ring but were working on finding out what happened |

How many quarts of oil did you pour?
And how fast were you running it before a tune?
Valves hit the pistons or the oil pump gave out.

Yeah you check your oil level since the event? Maybe you dumped it all over the road.

6 and i was going like 45ish at like 1.5-2k i was getting off the highway and it blew.I never went above 3k and the car only had 30.3 miles on it.The coolant res is empty and there is no oil on the dip stick just metal shavings. |
