Im goin to take pictures and post up a tutorial tomarrow beings my headlights are just about to be put back together.
I painted the headlight bezels black and wired up 4 LED's per headlight assembly. They look so sweet, I cant wait to get them back on the car.
*note* Im 8 hours into this project between tear down, tape, paint, wire, reassemble. And I had a buddy of mine repeat what I did... so cutting things in half basically. THIS IS TIME CONSUMING!

oh hell, b4 taking apart the headlights, just wire up your LED's so that when your headlights are apart, you just gotta silicone them to the headlight and run the wires and put it back together, should only take 5 hours tops if you know how to take the headlight apart in a timely manner

Lmao, let me tell u nicely before everyone else jumps on you.......USE YOUR SEARCH BUTTON.
type in "clear corners" and u will see a thread with step by step directions on how to take the headlights apart. ONLY THING U NEED TO KNOW is use your oven!!!!! heat it to 150 degrees or 175(prob 150) and put the headlights in the oven for 10 min, take it out, be careful cause its very hot, and pull it apart(make sure the tabs on the side come out easy) and its as easy as that.
BUT REMEMBER, THE SEARCH BUTTON IS THERE!!! USE IT FIRST, IF U CANT FIND ANYTHING, THEN START A THREAD!!!!!

Taping off the headlights took a good hour not to mention I had to clean the housing/lens' cause there was silicone everywhere. The guy that did the headlights befor me used the shittiest silicone ive ever seen. which is probably why i had condensation in them. If you can find a faster way to do it by all means go ahead... but taping off the corner signals like I did took for freakin ever.

Im pretty sure u can search that too, a lot of people do it, and there are a lot of questions asked about painting around the headlights. Why didnt u search that before u posted this!?lol But im pretty sure most people paint around the headlight.

Thread Jesus!!
So I saw a GTI with backlit led's in the headlights today and my mind started thinking of different things to do.
Cherry, did you ever end up doing this mod?
Another thing I was thinking about doing was CCFL (angel/demon eyes).
Thoughts?
