I think that if you were to paint the bezels to match it would look sweet !

Ok, now with all the talk of silicone, sealant, and other forms of adhesion; does anyone know what them rubber tubes are on the back of the lights? I'm thinking that the headlights are vented, and the "sealants" we apply are merely adhering the pieces together, and to keep rainwater from just "running" in. Any water vapor should just burn out in a short time if they're truly vented.

If you DID paint the rims in gunmetal, I think matching headlight bezels would look cool aswell. They'd off-set the white great, and match too.

I'm not sure what I want to do with the Alero yet...I've not even had it 2 months..

I guess I'm looking around and getting some ideas, parts list, etc of what I can do to it without too much problem.

I've ordered some headlight bulbs...and interior ones (xenon super white). Should be in early next week (I hope).

CAI is on the list for sure!!

but I think this mod will be a spring project.

Can somebody PLEASE answer a question for me. I'm trying to get the little clip things apart from the inside. The last step before you take the chrome part out and pop out the reflector... This SOB will NOT come apart. Can I put it in the oven or just keep holding the hair dryer to it? I got the first 3 but before I can get the corner one, I gotta get this other one. I'm probably not making any sense but I'm getting frustrated and really wanna get this done so I can go to bed.

Heat it up a bit, then pull it back. It will sound nasty, but it won't break.

Not really, you could cut that corner one out if needed. I've always been able to get it though.

Of course, I'm using a mans hairdryer.
