So should we do an update list on what is still to get done before the meet?
I will start...
Clay the car (done),Wax the car (done), install sway bar (sanded and repainted, it was rusty!), install wheels and spacers, clean the interior, paint and install gauge pod (again, hopefully the postal service delivers the 3rd gauge), and possibly touch up the rust spots if time allows... Not a big list, but working 60 hours a week is putting a damper on getting anything done as is the heat!!

Tim is forcing me to come by holding my UIM hostage!
Haha makes the meet all the more exciting for me!
I touched up my rust spots (very poorly, maybe someone there who knows more about body work can give me a hint/hand in fixing it?).
Clayed, polished then waxed it.
Interior needs a clean..
I'm hoping exhaust can get done by the time the meet comes around!

No it's not an hour long meet, you can stay how long you like there lol. It's just that I put that time because we have people coming from far away for the meet.

So far in this area this is only the second that I am aware of (in the past 3 years)... Last time we only had what, 5 of us? mind you that was in November, and one member was in an accident a week before, and another had his car wrecked a couple weeks before...
This meet has been advertised on here, GAGT as far as I know, and there has been interest over on GAGT about at least 3-4 members there coming as well... I am hoping we can get 10-15 cars there, the more the merrier!!!
See you there!

Winter or summer I can't have my day going without a cup of hot coffee :P
Car is detailed inside, now I just have to fix the rust, hopefully on wednesday. And maybe, but only maybe, if I get time, I will paint my calipers silver.

Lol all of you guys are going to puke when you see how I "fixed the rust".
I know I certainly did...much worse than my previous work and I don't know why..

I still have lots to do... might not get my wheels on the sedan hub rings and longer studs have not come in yet... and my second driver now has to work, so I might not get both cars down... still working on that dilema...
Sunday morning will be busy for sure!!!

The Malibu looks worse and worse every year
My rust fixing looks like shit, clear coat is peeling all over the front bumper and hood (where I did another home made rust fix 4 years ago).
The funny part is; the parts that aren't screwed up like that look freaking fantastic! I can see my reflection clear as day in the back bumper, move another few inches and there's cleat coat imperfections or a scratch...haha freaking daily drivers...
My front bumper looks like hell thanks for a tire off a trailer truck and in general a lot of rocks!
But either way, she's ready for tomorrow; the interior is clean, exterior is clean..
Was going to sand my headlights, polish em and re-clear em but after being in that sun since this morning I'm not feeling it...was also going to paint the grey part of my grille blue...same lazy ass explanation! lol
See you guys tomorrow!
