[ion] C2: i don't know i haven't looked into it in forever. some guy on JBO was going to make custom covers for my brake fluid reservoir and battery and such.
google. learn how to wrap, resin, and sand it.

I think I am going to look into it. I have always wanted to cover those peeling b pillars, and I think CF would look pretty cool. Thanks for the input.

I might just do my rear wing in all carbon fiber.
I actually got some carbon fiber vinyl recently... I'm trying to clean up the interior a bit from my poor choice to paint the interior.... I'm just going to wrap the center console and MAYBE the plastic parts on the door panels (handle with window controls). Just something to cover the bad paint job I did, and to clean it up a bit. If I don't like it, then I can just take it off.
I might also go to a junk yard and find some interior parts for the car that are in good shape...

Just got the carbon fiber. Must say, I am very impressed! It looks and feels like it is real carbon fiber. I've never dealt with it before, but it's not the fake sticker crap that someone printed..... It's got texture to it, and feels like fiber.

Raw material CF falls apart in your hand if you rub it.
The look should be a diamond weave pattern.
Half of it should be sort of 3D like in your face with the rest of the weave seeming like its tucked under until you tilt the CF and the underneath weave turns to 3D and the other top part switches to seem like its underneath.
So..does it do this? otherwise it doesnt look or feel like real CF

Real CF parts are dam cool, not much for wrap on exterior piecs though. Interior is a different story imo, wrap that interior to the 9's I say! I love carbon interiors. I dont have asingle interior piece done, but Id love too. Only carbon I have is a hood

At first, I cut it out, but didn't really like it... I actually kinda like it showing like that.... It's there, but not completely noticeable.

what do you mean it's bad? I like it... Works for me for what I'm using it on. Not using it for the car... Decided to use it on a few other things instead...

honestly when I look at the picture my eye focuses on the nice shiny black coming from the table trying to attract my eyes attention off of the "cf". I would never use that stuff thats all.
But good if you like it.

personally I like the way the wrap looks. been considering doing the same thing to my hood. But the way i look at it is if you like it who cares what everyone else thinks. opinions are like........

I wouldn't use it on my car, that's for sure. But it works great for little things like my phone and my macbook. Also put some on my external hard drive. Looks cool with the brushed aluminum.
