Are you referring to your old American Racing wheels? Because my OEM 16" alloys were less than 17 pounds each...I kinda doubt your 18" wheels are lighter than that.
Rule of thumb is that a "light" wheel weighs 1 pound per inch of diameter.
What do your 18s weigh?

Yes my AR wheels. Never had stock wheels with my car. My uncle bent 2 of em hitting a pothole back when he owned the car, so thats why my car came with the AR wheels
AR estrellas 16" - 20.44lbs
MSR 18" - 18.90lbs ship weight.
Thats weight for just rims, no tires added on.

This.... its always a good idea to try to keep the weight of the wheel (with no tyre) to the size of it or less.

You have to make you own kit. You need a battery box, some 2 or 4 gauge wiring, new battery terminals and a new battery... this would be a good time to convert the battery to top posts if you want. I prefer it since it's easier to add the wiring than in a side post set up.

Wednesday, August 14th 2013.
At the track, so far i have not beat my best time as last time (15.1) but for my second time at the track i have gotten great RT's.
So far best slip is...
Car #8
Dial ...
R/T ... .022
60'. ... 2.534
330 ... 6.610
1/8 ... 10.009
MPH ... 72.48
1000 ... 12.904
ET - 15.391
MPH - 90.22
Now on the passes tonight i havent been launching it hard, got one pass to go before track shuts down, gonna try and make it a good one.
Good thing on not launching hard, done like 8 passes and no wheel hop.
But for second time at track im very happy with a .022 rt, also got another rt of .090

You need to start keeping records of the track conditions, tire psi, IAT, ECT and all that. Best of all, get something to datalog the runs, HP Tuners is invaluable at this point.
If you ran 9 runs, that means you probably were not getting enough cool-down time. No doubt if you run on a cooler day, where the high is 65 degrees or so, it will run a 14.9xxx. with a good cool-down. iirc, ORP did not have a source of water for cooling, so that makes it tougher.
