Hey Mike, if you see this, what WHP would you estimate on a MAF that's hitting 11,400hz up top bud?

if using a stock MAF, that's about 48lb/min of air. I found Tim Kasczun's dyno run which is as close of a baseline as I can get, did some rough calculations to compensate for NA AFR vs boosted, drivertrain loss from blower, etc. My guess, 325 whp? No idea if that's right or not, but sounds about right. parasitic drag on the blowerloss isn't even linear, let alone predictable, atleast without knowing all the data on the blower.

Well I wouldn't ship with the crank trigger bracket installed, so it doesn't get damaged. We also don't install the bracket until the engine is in the car.

Need more info to get shipping quote, PM sent.

I had a rough transaction with Mike back in 2008 over some 36lb/hr injectors that I ended up returning. At the time I was not pleased, but looking back at it he really did me a solid with refunding the kit price. Sure do wish the valve spring on my stage 2 heads would not have broken, but after 60k miles I don't really blame him for that.

Well the bottom line is that in the real world things sh*t happens, and parts can break or fail. It doesn't happen very often, but it can happen. That valvespring failing is a shame. I personally didn't make the valvespring, but Comp Cams did. We use only the best components in their cars. If you had a failure in the 90-day warrantee period, I would have replaced or repaired the broken part no problem. Not sure what the deal was with the injectors, but if you had a problem with those during the warrantee period, same thing. Once things go outside the 90 days, any refunds from my suppliers aren't going to happen, so everything is out of pocket, and the money the customer originally paid has long since been spent, but I still try to do my best to take care of the customer as much as I can. If nothing else, I would offer a discounted price on replacement parts. I really do try to do everything I can to make every customer happy, but every once in a while, you end up having to make the tough decisions, upsetting customers, and risking losing business. It's all part of the game.

If your running 560 lift on a single beehive, shit will eventually break. I broke three on my heads from Milzy and there was a big fat "0" bitching from me guys.... I called milzy up, ordered a new set, tossed them in, and went on my merry way. I also went 4 years before I broke one and literally went down the quarter over 200 times with probably 5,000 plus shifts north of 7K RPMs!!

We cannot back up your claim of eventual failure due to a lack of failures given your parameters.

When mine broke the valve dropped in to the cylinder and grenaded the motor. But yeah, shit happens.

Years and years back, Comp Cams had a batch of valvesprings that was defective. I want to say this was around 2006 maybe? Who knows, it's been a while. Anyways, I would say it would be understandable if valvesprings failed that were in that batch from time to time, but otherwise the valvesprings should not be common for failure.

That's when I got them from you, fall of 2006. 50k+ miles, a lot of which on a crap tune, I am glad it lasted as long as it did. Remember this car never once lived up to what it should have been. Fastest quarter time was barely in the 14's at 14.9x. Meanwhile Tim was running 14 flat and 13.9x with basically the same mods. Hindsight being 20/20 would I do it over again? No probably not. I would have just fixed the head gasket leak that started my mod fever and let that be the end of it.

I think many of us are in that same boat with you.
I never intended to do everything that I did to the GA but it kind of morphed into a life of it's own and one thing led to another.

All the cars we've had here that we've done the stage 2 install on have had good results. Did you get the whole stage 2 package from us? The instances where I see people make less power than expected is when they decide to "make their own" stage 2 kit, or if they do a bottom end build and most likely have it put together wrong or with the wrong parts.

Also the quarter mile time is pretty much make or break in the first 60ft. I'm not sure what your 60ft time is, but without a good launch, a good time is just not possible. Every .10 second off your 60ft is worth .15-.20 at the end of the track.

Back then all your stage 2 package was heads and a cam. I had all of it parts wise. Like I said, what I didn't have was a good tune.
