the only time we ever bake a car is to get the car done faster, if a car has to go in 1 day, we bake it at the products specs, like ppgs clear should be cooked at 140-160, thats the only time there is no need to bake clear anymore

in my 20yrs i have never seen paint chip off crack off or flex to the point where it will fail on the panle, lets look at saturn the "abs" panles on the car will crack before the paint does, so i say hes good, nothing to worry about

Very true.. funny i have a saturn sl.. great car.

fixed SMC fenders ect. on vettes before they used them on saturn's and buick's and other gm cars and van's...

as for paint its make things alot easy to paint at home garage than ever.
room temp is all thats needed.. as in duplacolor...

[quote='[ion] C2;485387']No, that is the Spyder 3 hood. Nothing like the SS one.

Anyone know if this hood is ok quality? Been eyeballing it awhile....

Nah they weren't originally but since they are so rare and highly wanted by just about everyone on here...You most likely won't get one for the original price

pimpalero2003 is an unknown quantity at this point
Could get that hood it's fiberglass cut down those stupid things on the side and then foam it and shape a cowl and glass it. No worries of cracking since it'd be glass to glass.
