I'm going to try and make it as well. Im on a leave of absence until two compressed disks in my spine get fixed. If I get back to work in time I'll make the trip for sure. Driving the alero up will a heck of lot cheaper then the GTO from 09's ass so im hopeful. we shall see

At this point it would be more of a surprise to make it then to not...if I meet my goal for money in the bank and am not needed at my internship then i will be there...it will be a longer drive for me this year because i am usually out in hays which adds an extra 160 miles to buy gas for...i currently have about 50-60 % of my goal

It's looking like a next year for me too. I'm already regreting not coming out this year. Talking with the g/f and she says "We'll go next year then"
And before anybody says it, I chose to NOT go before I even met her

The other thing that could help is if i got my gas mileage up about 10 mpg... I am tired of getting 22-23 highway with my eco that i have seen get as much as 36mpg...changed the pedal sensors which helped some as it now actually has fluctuating rpm based on load instead of holding steady until downshift...gonna run injector cleaner through and see if it helps...i have noticed a very minor miss (no codes) that i would either attribute to that or coil pack, plug rail, plug boots, or plugs (boots and plugs have around 47k on them but it has been low for a good 10k mile)...i am also nervous about taking the plugs out since no plug grease was used because didnt think about aluminum head and have never had an issue on a iron head car without it

Anti seize goes on the threads. Boot grease goes on the acrylic center so the rubber boot doesnt stick to the plug.

You know what i mean ...i have done plugs in plenty of iron head motors and done just fine without all that stuff...i will prolly actually be fine if i start it from fully cold and let it run for a little bit

I'd be surprised papa... that was Kyle's dept and I'm not sure who has taken over that part for him.... I know I'm still waiting for my vip package of the sticker and t shirt and I'm sure I'm not alone....
