East coast, not an excuse.
700 miles one way and 1/2 the trip is spent in PA.
All this extra stuff bring brought is great. Kinda hard to fit all this stuff in a 2 door Alero for 700 miles

that is good for SUV.........try top the 16mpg for the durango....LOL. Actually the best MPG for ASS was the hyundia @ 38mpg that year.
I got 31mpg out of the alero
So everyone make sure you bring enough gas money and Marc maybe bring a extra gas container.

do 60MPH on the highway if you can, supposedly it's drastically higher than 70-75. like a guy with a Z28 got 26MPG at 75 then 38MPG at 60 on the highway

I was looking at renting a flat bed tow truck next year. I'll need on with a King Cab or Crew Cab. Not finding too many places that rent them. I figured this would be the cheapest way to go, if I tow.
I've changed my driving habits drasticly. The last 2 tanks were 21.4 and 21.6 combined city and highway. My highest before that was 20.9.
Keeping all tires with about 33 to 35 PSI, windows up, a/c on, all accel I'm keeping below 3000, but I've been keeping it all at 2500 or lower, and as soon as I get to my location, I park the car quick and turn off the motor, put the car on "acc" then turn off everything

it's pushed all the way back.
did i mention that i am cheating this year? my car will be towed to western michigan via budget truck and car dolly since me and my wife are moving her friend back up there. then i will drive it from there, so its only ~2hrs in the alero.
