Once I get the cam installed (custom grind) I'm shooting for just this side of street driveable. Gas mileage will be hideous. Check ZZP for their 4t65e-HD build on their 9 second car, I'm having them build me a duplicate minus the 4th gear delete and trans brake.

Youre right. Will b expensive but you know high performance builds are never cheap. As far as no clue of how much work. I know. My father thinks I'm crazy. I learned from him though. He had a 68 camaro with more than 1700 horse. Yeah I know it was a big block v8 but with what he can do and I can do it will be definetly interesting.

well, I can honestly say that my stock clutches do NOT like 12psi, and for that matter, neither do the local mustangs. Despite the transmission, the engine LOVES the 12psi.....I guess it's like an asthma victim getting an inhaler....hahahah
Looks like I may be stepping up to the 4t65 a little sooner than I projected.
Further pushing me along is that ZZP's TT Gran Prix just hit 9.3 @ 150mph in the 1/4 not too long ago...two things are all I can think of to say at this point 1) "Wow", and 2) I better get it in gear (literally)
Here's the link to where I stored/uploaded the videos on that TTGP

well, like I said before on that video, rumor has it that viper was S/C intercooled. I dont think even a stock viper rips out that fast.

My plan....
1) Let BJ experiment with the combos
2) Get a list of what's what in his final set-up
3) Plan on purchasing only those final parts/servicings
4) Stick with my stock Alero since I don't have the money

ya know what....that's not a bad idea. Especially since we only have 2 people on here that have seen the car in person and rode in it. I got a vidcam for the family for christmas, so you'll have to wait 'till it's officially unwrapped, then you're on
