If you are looking to save a bit of money you could hit up rockauto.com and buy some hubs there and have them installed. I bought a set of timken from their and installed them myself. Was very easy to install and the hubs are only 175$ for the pair. Even if you pay someone to do it, should only be looking at 2hrs worth of labor. Be ahead a couple hundred bucks.
The first time mine went all it was was a broken wire but it was cheaper for me to buy new hubs and install them then what they wanted to fix it.

Bought accars hubs off of eBay and 90 days later they are both bad. They are standing behind them though and said they would refund my money. Taking mine to the dealer tomorrow for 2 new front hubs. They first tried to replace the wiring harnesses that go to the hubs as that has been a known problem but after they did that, the lights came back on and threw codes that the front hubs are bad. They game me a couple of hundred bucks off for having not fixed it with the harnesses. Gotta spend another $628 for the 2 fronts.

Dealer called and said only one of the hubs is bad. Guess that is some amount of relief. Also said they would hold discounted price for a couple of months in case the other one goes bad.

Why didn't you get more hubs from accars? Seems that they are doing a bad job of referbing these hubs, and costing people more money. Some times if it is to good to be true then it is to good to be true.

On the flip side ive read on here where peoples Timken hubs were bad also...
SKF makes hbs for our cars also.
The AC Cars hubs utilize Chinese bearings...

Seems to me better to buy brand new, especially if you plan to do the work yourself.

You know, looking back at the auction listing for the ones I bought from accars, the bearings are listed as "2 BRAND NEW in box FRONT WHEEL HUB BEARINGS" shown as "BCA part # (2) 513137". Don't know if this differs from the listings others have purchased.

The ones from accars I bought were the 2 brand new in the box ones. One of them failed in 90 days. The other one is doing OK so far. Got the one from the dealer installed today and so far so good. No idiot lights. Dealer list for the hub is like $350ish. They cut me a break and sold it to me for $200. Not sure if it is AC Delco or who manufactures it for them.

My first 2 bearing didnt come in a box, just the USPS box.
The new one did.
Autopart International # 513137 Then there 1411-45582 Hub Assembly AI513137
"Made in China"
So that fully explains it.

Oh ya...
As for updated spindle nuts, SOL.
No parts stores around me carry them- Autozone, Advance Auto parts, Murray's...
Rock Auto has them for $2.50 each, but its $18 to ship them... WTF Rock, FU!
I was going to order rotors, pads for my Buick and the nuts from them... $60 shipping. If I take out the nuts, its $29 shipping... So combined shipping is $31 JUST for the nuts.
I Emailed Rock... Im fairly upset with that. its pretty under handed and I surely hope its a data input error.

Jeezus that's insane! I've ordered other stuff from them before and for a single, small, light-weight item the minimum shipping was around $7. But I just quoted those nuts myself and it gave me $15.94. Part of the deal with Rock is that items ship from a variety of locations, so you never know what's coming from where. And if you order a bunch of stuff, it doesn't necessarily cut down on the shipping because you may end up paying 2 minimum shipping charges. Can't you just order it from Advance and do an in-store pickup?

Nope its not available from any place... Except Rock ive found.
Rock said the shipping was that high due to the item being out of stock and is drop shipped from the OEM.
I asked why the drop ship price is $18 for the nuts alsone, but with my other items the nut portion was $31... no response...

That pretty much sucks. I did a lot of shopping around and I ended spent a fortune with them for my overhaul. It's all been fairly priced so far, both parts and shipping. I guess that's the benefit to shopping around, getting the best deals. But who would've thought these nuts would be so hard to find.

Ok I ended up getting her done this weekend as I finally had free time!
It ended up being the drivers side, all is well now.
just note if you get a bearing from them and theres not a dark blue heat mark on the one side, somethings not right with it.
now to get the return and my $48 back. This will be the tough part, Im sure.

Well no response from the seller yet. Its been over a week since I last emailed them.
So I emailed them once again. If they dont want to refund the $48 as agreed upon I will simply do a charge back with my credit card, then they will ive me back my $48.
Also tried sending a link to this thread.
