Not bad at all, but youshould get some Flowmasters to compliment the sound.

The current plan right now is to get the Camaro style Magnaflow with a Vibrant resonator. Not sure if I'm gonna go with a ultra quiet or regular resonator yet. They still sound loud on the high RPMs on the ultra quiet so it wouldn't sound stock. Exhaust will be coming in the spring. Spent a lot of money into the motor and headers yet the exhaust is still. Such a shame lol.

Resonator makes a huge difference in getting rid of raspiness. Absolutely put one in there.

Ive got one at idle but not cruise. At cruise it was actually really not bad. No aftermarket stereo or anything in it, and didn't have to crank it to kill the sound.
The tone was nice, not raspy at all actually.

Sounds pretty good man. Still think I'd go with a res. If anything I could just remove it down the road if I don't like it.

3500 Build Price
For those who are wondering what I spent on my build I made a price list of everything. I Didn't include shipping on anything because its a lot cheaper for the US members on here with not having to pay BS brokerage fees and what not. For example I had to pay atleast $150 extra for my hptuners on brokerage and shipping alone and $60+ for brokerage on the fuel pump which is dumb.
If anyone is interested in doing anything similar, pm 3500Alero (Scott). He's the one who made all of this possible! He also gave me a killer deal on parts and labor because this isn't the first time I've had him pull an engine for me.
3500 fully assembled with new timing chain, comp cams 26915 valve springs, machined heads/valve job, gaskets, #28 trailblazer injectors, spark plugs, labor, porting, etc..
Total: 2224.64
Cam, custom length pushrods and valve stem seals for LS valve springs and 60* valve combo
Total: $534.97
HP Tuners Pro
Total: $649
3500 Crank trigger kit + Coolant temp extension
Total: $166.95
Milzy 255 LPH Walbro fuel pump kit (to be installed):
Total: 134.99
Grand Total:
$3710.55
