Spy,
Thanks for your input of stupididty into this thread. However I am Paying my bills and still supporting 2 families on my paycheck. The 7 an hour job is what I use to play with my car. So the next time you feel like jacking a thread, aleroracing is still around somewhere.

Assuming the OEM O2 sensor is consistent from run to run, the voltage it puts out during WOT is still a good indicator of AFR, not as accurate, but useful nonetheless. For example, a failing or weak fuel pump system, or mismatched injectors will show up with a change in the OEM sensor's voltage. If I scanned a dyno run where an AFR of 12.0 was logged, and my narrowband read 925 straight across the graph, then I know pretty much where I need to be.
Either way, an O2 sensor tells what resulted from a tune or component change, not what to do about it.

what's really awesome is that those narrowband flashy light a/f gauges don't tell you that. A wideband would. Also when datalogging, having a wideband coupled with the voltage reading of the o2 sensor will help out a lot.
YAY!

I'm just here to bring along a dose of reality.

Alright Ion, NOW who is sounding like the pirate? Thar be no s's....ARRRGGGGHHH.
LMAO.
So I think I am set on going with a oil pressure/ volt meter/ and a transmission temp. However I am also thinking of substituting the trans. temp with a fuel pressure gauge. I am not sure at this point and will probably stick with the trans. temp.
I am getting my gauges from glowshift along with the gauge pod pillar for a pontiac GA

Blktrax,
I appreciate your opinion and input (really I do), However I will be running gauges and think that I have set my mind on the 2 1/16th" gauges in the gauge pod.
Thanks anyway,

Hey no problem, just options.
To your origional question though, seems like you got it pretty well figured out.
Not opting to the aeroforce or the other two, and speaking cosmeticly and function.
If youre planing to go F/I at some point get a Boost/Vac accomplishes same thing, and dont have to replace it later.

Oil Pressure - Electric sender type, not mechanical, I cant remember how any engines Ive seen have somehing happen to the little tube to the guage and pump out most of the oil.
http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugede...id=3227&sid=12
The A/F will work with your stock O2 sensors but as its been said before for accurate readings you need to get a wideband OS sensor. Thats a big cost, unless you just want general readings and the look till you do, However be aware that some guages are not wide band compatable.
http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugede...id=3216&sid=12
Notes:
Will work with most factory narrow-band O2 sensors. May require model 2244 in the Accessories Section.
This product has no provision for dial illumination/backlighting.
I would probably go with oil temp myself instead of trans temp. or the a/f or the boost/vac.
So something like
1. Voltmeter
2. Oil Pressure
3. Oil Temp
I know I went over a few things that were already talked about, but hey more information never hurt anyone.

Blktrax,
I agree that I am probably going to end up with oil pressure/voltmeter/ and trans temp. I am also thinking of just getting another gauge and a single pod also. That way I could put the volt meter inthe cubby hole under the radio, and then the other three gauges (oil pressure/ trans temp/ and then a fuel pressure) in the three pod gauge pillar. That way I could monitor the important things while the voltmeter ONLY being used for my audio equipment would be under the radio.

Basicly something like this:
Just keep in mind its not exactly in your line of sight, to its sometimes hard to monitor unles your on a dyno tuning.
