They can custom fab you a cat back and you can do headers later. I walked in there on a Saturday and left about an hour later with mine installed. It's right next door to where Kustom Kar Sound used to be, if you know the area.
A cat is an emissions control device, reduces the toxicity of emissions

Do they do intakes to? Whats an estimated price? yeah thats pretty close to where I am.

if you can't do the intake yourself, you shouldn't be modding cars. Intake is super easy, ordering it is probably the hardest step

Until they laugh in your face it doesn't matter. When they do tell them to lick the crack of your ass. Thats my opinion though! Words to live by: Don't go through life worrying about what people say about you, or trying to fit in cause people will always say something about you and you won't always fit in. Be you! I'm glad my teenage years are behind me and I didn't do something I would regret....Good Luck with that!

Intakes are easy, do it yourself.
Exhaust has to be welded, and yes it can be removed later if you so choose.
You'll have to listen the the 4 banger guys to get the correct muffler for your car

So when I left my friend told me they were laughing at how weak my car sounded I mean these guy are all out of highschool or just graduated so they have time and money to work on their cars. Is this how it is everywhere? As soon as you show up you need to be spitting fire can't go to learn anything?
So I guess my first priority is a new exhaust system?

So whats youre saying is your going to mod your car out to their likes?
I say the hell with them.
The Alero isnt exactly a sports car or race inspired even. Its like a turd on wheels in corners... the V6 engines arent exactly powerful and I cant imagine a 4 cylinder being any better.
It is what it is man. Just make it look nice and sound good, audio wise. Heck with the rest

please do your intake yourself! i don't know about the ecotec, but doing mine took like an hour. and that includes going inside a few times to take a break from the cold.

my first car was a 96 ford escort... people made fun on me all the time, i just saw a few of those same people last week... one was driving a beat up camry, one was in a rusted early 90's silverado, and one had the nicest car... a new prius. i have two cars now... the alero and an 07 WRX... this was the first time i'd seen them in 3 years... the jelousy was dripping off them. felt kinda good i can't lie.

Yeah im pretty good at building stuff and modding things, just never worked on a car yet. I'll do the intake myself. Yeah in the 2.2l section they said the dynomax super turbo was good for my car.
