Thanks for the positive compliments everyone.
This project was really spurred on by a desire for functional performance. There is nothing fancy about these lights - no colored bezels, no "angel eyes"/halos, or painted housings. I thought that the euro reflectors might have a better beam pattern, but I always found it lacking, especially after driving my wife's car which came from the factory with projectors (not HIDs though).
Besides better performance, the only other requirement was that they looked like factory parts and not something cobbled together.
Money is always an issue, and I'd like to think that I live a fairly modest (yet comfortable) life. But I can completely understand that most people could think I'm insane for doing some of the things I do.
Could I have done the work myself and saved a large chunk of change? Absolutely. But the end result would not look anywhere near as good. I'd rather pay a pro to do the job right.
I should have them installed later this week, at which point I will post some more pictures.

I agree Matt, I do some pretty insane things myself at times, heck, after my bill from Milzy everyone always says "what the hell!?! You could have bought a new car for that."
I always reply, I don't want a new car, period. I want this one. That's why I put my hard earned money into it.

It's probably too expensive for the majority of people to consider.....I'll leave it at that.
Should have them installed in a few days.
Thanks for the positive compliments.

I have the retrofit package from them like it a lot.

Do you have any fill lights in case you're going up and down hill and dale? I discovered, two years ago up around New Hampshire, that THAT sucked with HID projectors - can't do high beams because of on-coming traffic, and all I could see was the road bed reaching up in front of me. NOT impressed.
(That same cutoff? GREAT around here in Northwest Louisiana / Southwest Arkansas / East Texas.)

In all seriousness, are these projectors bixenon? Because I'd like to see a high beam shot.

Any progress? I'm interested in a set, so that I can stop wasting my time making some.

Progress with what? These have been done for some time.
LightWerks did them for me. If you want a set, mail them a set of cores and your Visa card. They weren't cheap.

Lol! Did they take the entire card Matt? That's kinda sketchy. You better hope you didn't get signed up for the subscription plan where they auto I'll you for a new set annually.

My guess would be $6-700, just for the work not parts.
