Maybe I can earn 1/2 a point - Using a 200 Alero PCM to run the GM S/C on my 1999 Malibu... the 73 Olds needs a rear-end.

lol this is funny, but on a side note I understand why so many people hook up Hondas.....they are crap to start with. 10 years ago I drove a civic si and man that think was slow not to mention the seats were uncomfortable and I felt like i was in a shuttle.
but I agree with cherry, some stereos have more HP then hondas lmao

Ok i got maybe a noobish question. When an Alero gets turboed what is the max pressure you guys set up for? and then for the Honda what is the max pressure they set up for?
Also i got a kid at my school that says his turboed honda has 300 HP, is he filling me full of shit or could that be obtainable.

with supporting mods it's very attainable. as far as boosting aleros... i've seen for the most part people sticking close to 6-7lbs... spy help me out...
to put it in perspective. a stock GSX boosts like 7, my wrx stock pushes 14. i've seen 4g63s with over 90lbs.

Well, Ion has to be pushing 300 or so from his LD9, and I believe Spyhunter is 500+ at the crank. There really is no limit for how much you can pump out of your motor, but there is a limit to how much the motor can take. You have to build your motor to handle the power you want to see.

/\/\ well i was asking if 300 HP out of a civic sounded right.
6-7 LBS is that like putting in a turbo on a stock engine, or is that with the engine built for it. 6-7 LBS seems kinda low, i guess i have only driven one car with a turbo and that was for behind the wheel and that was in a WRX (it was a blast )

i know the stock 3.4 can handle approx 12psi, but most people stay around 6-7, because the tranny can't take it.

usually.. especially with the alero's.
They rebuild the trans to performance spec. LSD, Upgraded Clutches, Higher Stall Torque Converter
And if im correct. C2 is running 13.8 lbs boost on his built LD9
