do a 2 1/2" header back setup...2 1/2" cat..SLP exhaust (better than Flowmaster...trust me I've had both) and you'd be set to go. Catco makes pretty good cats for us.

so to get just the headers and the flewpipe, do you have to call the company to order them?

yes, very easy. Just call the number on the site, and tell them what you want. Dont know what the current prices are. ANYWAYS. UPDATE!
Looks like my brother and dad are NOT going to help me at all to put on my headers !! I know a guy at a Midas that my store deals with, he said he'd put them on himself on the side for $150. Thats nice and all, but that means that I'm going to have to forefit the dyno cause I just don't have the money right now to do both. I am very disapointed right now......
more updates later

None that are very mechanically inclined. Plus I need to weld the flex pipe to my cat. I have never touched the welder in our garage, other than to move it out of the way, so I cant do this.

well im going for max hp for one, i had the pipe setup i have now, and i wanna redo the whole exhaust system, unlike i had done before, so im just gonna go with the complete slp catback system, which as ive heard is just as loud as the flowmaster 80, just a different tone, so im just gonna go with the whole slp kit

Ok, so its been a long time. But I finally put them on this weekend. I still can't drive the car yet because of a snag with the under car piping and a cat. But I figured I might as well show some of the progress...

So everything up top is done, but I thought I was going to cut and weld the old cat on there, but it was not to be. I have about 14" between my Borla, an the S&S flex pipe. So i'm going to have to have something custom made here for a cat. Shouldnt be too hard, I work at a parts store and can get a cheap universal cat, and have one of our muffler shop accounts weld it together for me. Then I just bolt it in, and weld it up, and then I finally get to test drive it!!!
Heres the undercar situation as of right now.....

The engine is back together, but I am going to have to find some heat wrap material and wrap up a bunch of wires and harnesses and hoses etc. I ran the car for about 10 seconds just to make sure it would run, and the headers, just from that, were too hot to touch! so anything even remotely near those pipes is going to have to be protected. I may look into the TB heat shield on pfyc too cause its going to be a virtual hell under that hood.
On a side note, when I fired i up, I jumped a little bit because it fired up so loud and startled me (keep in mind, its straight headers to the flex, nothing else hooked up under there) but it was such a cool noise. Not something I would want to drive around with, but its not every day you hear a 6cyl thats booming loud like that. If you have done this with your car before, you know what I am talking about
