If you want to have an even shorter throw, you can change the bracket that the shift cables attach to on the transmission.

not proven wrong.. because the moon orbits the earth faster, so the gravitational pull from the moon would unbalance the end of the elevator.

Yes, do this with ur cosmo racing short throw, and u will notice an even greater shorter throw, and will be easier.

I ordered the Short Shifter and the short RAM last Saturday, they had informed me that the product would not be available until Today, and it shouldn't take long to ship.. so I'll post a review(with photos) when it arrives

This one is REALLY expensive...

This one's cheaper, but only has one part..

Here's a page showing it being installed on a VX220.

Here's a PDF showing it being installed on a MK4 Astra.

..my order arrived yesterday, and I finish installing the parts today. right away, I'm really enjoying the gains from the Cosmo WAI.
I have mixed feelings about the cosmo short shifter, and it's compatibility with the alero.. overall they're both very solid well made parts. Excellent value for the price!

The Short Shifter makes the shifting plenty short, but with length you also lose leverage, making gearshifts slightly stiffer.. and the Getrags were not the smoothest shifting tranny's to begin with.. so the overall benefit is minimal, but overall it is a very solid clean looking part.
...Also the shifter was not compatible with the key lock-out, so I ended up just taking it off.
The plastic bushing that came with the shifter was too big, and I ended up removing the bushing from the stock shifter.. cosmo failed to include a clip with the blue aluminum pin included. The instructions said that you would re use the clip from the original part, which was not available. These parts are easy to find though, so it was not a huge deal
