welcome! I love those rims! take good care of the car and It'll take care of you. They're safe and pretty reliable cars. Yeah, they have regular problems but with the low(er) miles on yours, you have plenty of time to care for it so you don't encounter those problems down the road.

Thanks for the great welcome guys . I really liked the second picture too.
I would like to tint the windows, I think that black tint with the silver car would look really cool...but my dad is worried about me being pulled over more because of them...and it is technically his car...I've almost got him convinced to let me get them though, i mean if i'm not doing anything illegal why should i be worried.

Looks like you put some grill-mesh in front of your foglights too? Looks good! And... welcome!

Yeah they are 6x9s it was a typo ...a little bit of a late response to that question...
I put the grill mesh on about 2 months ago, it seemed like a cheap mod that would add a different look to my appearance. (at least around here, there are only 3 or 4 aleros in my area)

why should you be worried? because i've never done anything illegal in my alero (except for the night where i got breathalyzed.. but that was long afterwards) and i got nailed for tinting.
get your state legal limit, and don't worry about it. you can and WILL get a ticket for illegal tinting.

i would definitely not exceed the legal limit, i think its 35% in Indiana. I wouldn't do it myself (ive heard too many horror stories and i dont really trust myself to do it), so i would hope that the business that i choose to take it too would know the limit...but i would look up the laws in Indiana before i take it to get tinted.

thanks for the pictures HazMatt, I tried to photoshop tinted windows on my car but a real example really helps.
Do you happen to know what percent tint it is?
