^Never will. There is no accelerometer in any other ipod, besides the touch.
You dont have to upgrade to 2.0 firmware either. Just downgrade to 1.1.4, jailbreak, and get the app pirated.

I work for apple :P
That being said, I cant say anything about jailbreaking an ipod, though I do have the 16GB touch, and the dynolicious program on it. Its actually quite accurate for the price, and I'm using it to perfect my launch so when I go to the track I can get the best time

I have an iPhone with the new 2.0 firmware on it and it's fully unlocked. I don't have to pay for ANY apps. Haha.

Diggin' up the thread...
I used the program yesterday and today with awesome results. I was trying to run times on my newly aquirred 3hp minibike, wasnt calibrating so i jumped in the alero and did a pass. Did the quarter in 16.29 at 86 i believe.
Anyways... the minibike. We made a mount for it, and ran it down the road. The vibration must have been too much or i was going way too fast because my 1/4 mile time was 15 seconds at 125mph. Top speed of 138mph. Also rated my hp at 86. So yeah, my 3hp Briggs motor is way faster than the 2.2 ecotech.
Good times. Very cool program and seems to have accurate information when using it for the right aplication.

To further dig up the thread :P, I tested the program again recently, and its giving me 0 - 60 times around 6.9 to 7.3, with HP ratings near 205. Seeing as how i never answered billy's question, I figured i should.

Heh heh, always remember that I ran a 14.9 with those simple mods. I seriously think theres other work done to the car I dont know about, but I think the program is pretty close to right in my case.

I hate to burst your bubble but you won't get near 240 with that...you might see 220. I would even be surprised if you have over 200.

clearly he's joking, notice the over-enthused "YEAAA" and the wink at the end.

I don't know, Billy is a bit different...j/k. Once the headers go on, he should have real close to 200. Anyway...someone want to send me their ipod that has this on it...I'll try it out and see how accurate it is
