Idk, the laws in my area are lame, you can't have the drivers window tinted at all, back window and pass front minimal.. so I'm thinking illegal. Ide love to put a strip on the windshield as well

Wow, I didn't realize anyone had commented on this thread lol. No disrespect meant twoard the car itself.. I just had 2 sets of "alero" badges and wanted it to say something differet. I worked in a detail shop for 3 years, mad me realizs most people don't give 2 flyin shits about their car. Why not have a little fun and see who notice
I persoanally find it hillarious and plan on blaring tech9ns song this summer, sportin the badge.
Cars supposed to have a tranny in tomorrow, fingers crossed on this one

Car looks good! you gonna try to go to ASS?
Also, I wouldn't really worry about the tint as long as cops aren't aholes around there. I've been pulled over countless times and I'm running 5% with the legal limit being 35% and haven't had any problems.

yeah while I haven't mentioned much about it I was thinking that sleepr and my other friend if they are going could stay together in either clay or concordia then if you follow the most direct route with proper timing we could meet you in the chicago area, and if DeeJay from LA decided to come though he says he definately isn't he could meet up with us in York, NE or Lincoln, NE depending on where we left from...that is if you decided to go
It is looking nice so far

In due time. If I can manage to find the money, I would consider going. Girl wants to take kids to disney land this year.. gonna cost a pretty penny as is. Car is up on a rack at work right now, new transmission bolted in and ready to go. Bunch of little things to hem up tomorrow.
On a bugett exausht too! No cat (hasn't had on since swap) so. Strait stock pipe to a Thrush 2 in muffler and out. Idk how its going to sound. We shall see

After seeing it up there all day I would like to paint the front bumper before summer, and I seen a couple dents in the drivers door. Damn perspective change

Mind as well wait until the fenders/qtrs start peeling cause you didn't take the bumper covers off or at least drop the sides when you painted it (or whoever u had do it). Give it a year or two and the clear will start peeling away. Same goes for the hood.

OK so let me see if I understand all of this.
Your car doesn't run, so you spent your money on paint, you're going to basicly have your car say tit on that back with stock lettering, and you painted your bezels so your headlight look cool at night when you sit behind the wheel, pretending to drive, while making race car noises.
Ummm, okay
don't worry, I'm laughing at you

Lol, it wasn't running or driving when I painted it tho. It was my last days at my last paint shop, there wasn't any work to do so we painted my car on the clock.
Race car noises made it sound like a rice rocket :P didn't do my v6 justice.
She runs and drives now however 1750$ is what I'm into it. The alero goes anywhere from 2 to 5 grand over here, so it was like making payments but with parts instead lol
Now that's its mobile I gotta say I think I'm falling in love with a new (for me at least) breed of GM

simple solution...remove fart can, though that doesn't matter with a bad motor
