Weird. You did about as good as a stock Alero, again.

Clogged cat causes epic bogging and you boost the instant you touch the throttle, cruise boost/vac is 0. And if you floor it you'll overboost (I hit 15 PSI when I let off). I don't know what would cause your problems, maybe the TPS sensor. With HPTuners you could check it out and diagnose a problem easily. Wish you were closer.

Pull the throttle body and give it a good check over, it might be something you cant otherwise notice.

On my car papers it says 1300kg

I was planning on taking the TB out to give it a better look. I also wanted to take a look in a local junkyard to find a used 56mm TB from a QUAD4.

Ion, The TPS sensor, isnt it the thing that is bolted to the TB with 2 screws?

yeah....i went to the track on 9/23 for the first time and my fastest time in the 1/4 was 17.4950@79.21 mph and i ran 3 times.

1st Run against a taurus SHO v6 (manual) thats in my car club:Me=17.6040@76.92
Him=15.9668@88.45
I lost this 1

2nd Run against a 2003 eclipse n/a (manual) thats in my car club:Me=17.7751@77.33mph
Her=17.3172@78.78mph i lost this 1

3rd Run against a 99 dodge neon n/a (manual) that is owned by our car club VP:
Me=17.4950@79.21mph
Him=17.2478@82.27mph
and i won this one by .1099 seconds

And my fastest reaction time was .2020 and that was against the SHO.

I was kinda disappointed cause i was hoping to at least hit 16's steadily.

Do you have a V6 or a 4-cyl/5-speed?

is that safe and/or healthy for the engine/tranny to be hitting that high prior to shifting??
