i was just looking at the S/C 3800 and was wondering how much of a pain would it be to swap it out for our 3400 or is it even possible??
|
well there's your answer. it is possible, and takes ~250 hours.

i v-6 alero can handle alot of power, we have s/c alero and springs fastest alero to vouche for that, they can handle alot, but its just easier to get more power to start with a bigger engine

If you have enough cash and time on your hands, you can retro fit just about anything in an Alero. Personally, I'd love to see a rear-drive smallblock retro-fitted in along with an independant rear suspension, but i'm not gonna hold my breath for that to happen.
Has anyone researched swapping in one of the front drive Olds V8s? That would make a sweet finished product IMO. " All-Olds Power "

the northstar has been done, but that's a cadillac engine, if you would have read his post, you would see that he said all olds power.

I'm sure it would hurt the trans, eventually, and possibly the motor. Just ask Springs about boost hurting your motor.
|
ask away... I never hurt my motor on boost

oldsmobile had a major influence on the the design of the northstar.
much of its stuff was taken from the quad 4
many gm brands co-op on stuff
and for quite a while now all gm's engines have been whored to each division
caddy just happens to be the one with the right price tag to push the northstar
