tryed tps but same problem. whats do yall think about the vss it only does it when it driving on the street ehrn all tires are moving could that do it.

lmfao dude couldn't figure it out. he did a free tuning. checked it myself all it was, was low fuel... haha imma the tune was going to be 500. now i can buy som rods and pistions

In Denver at the preferred shop its either $495 for them to tune it. (which is highly reccomended, they are the best in the area and have tuned a lot of GM vehicles and have Colorados only 9 second evo) OR you can rent the dyno for the entire day for $500 and do it yourself.......OR you can do both for $1000. You can have the dyno all day and professional tuning and can tune it several different boost settings if you have the dyno all day.

Damn....thats crazy. But i guess if you have the $$$$ to boost/build your engine you can afford that I paid $100 for mine....obviously wasn't on a dyno and Mike already had the files loaded on his computer for a similar set up. He made a few changes and she's running better than ever

he tuned it to 12 psi on stock block running it at 10 omg it makes a diff. tune tune tune. yea 500 is good in va. most of the time they say 700. 150 for hptuner file and the rest in pocket. lol hes now doing my gsx for 30 psi bushur engine

little off topic do u have the 6 bolt or the 7 bolt also do u have the 2.0, 2.3,2.4 engine. my buddy is currently building a cayenne red gsx 6 bolt right now hp goal is 500hp.

That's because it's not what's considered tuning. It takes time and skill and the use of an expensive dyno to properly adjust the timing and fueling on a car to perfection.
$500 is the general price for a proper fuel/spark/general dyno (& street) tune.

So what your telling me is all the time you take to tune your car on the computer is a waste of time cause its not as good of a tune than a dyno tune?

I assume by you saying "tune your car on the computer" you mean me adjusting values while doing street tuning. That's right; you need a dyno to efficiently tune and maximize power gains safely. What I've done over the years is just guess and check work. I can get the fueling adjusted to where I think it should be, but as for spark advance, it's just a guess. It's not optimized whatsoever. Need to be able to see the dyno graph to monitor how the changes are affecting the torque curve.
What you did was get a mail-order tune. One that was made for another car and then used on yours. There are differences between cars, especially with different mods. Whatever fueling adjustments or spark adjustments made for the other vehicle may not be right where the perfect spot is for your car. Sure it may be closer, but it's still going to be off. Regardless, it's going to be a very mild tune due to that fact.

You assumed correctly....so when you gonna take your car to the dyno? Never heard you mention one before and your all about getting your car to run perfect....so take it to a dyno since you cant tune it 100%
Also, i'm pretty suuuuure Mike has done a few 3400's with an intake, headers and exhaust before....not that many mods and he quite a few cars with 3400's in them at the shop when i went. My car runs a hell of a lot better than before so i can't complain....better fuel mileage than before too. Soooo i think he did a pretty good job. I'm not taking my car to the strip all the time so i could give a damn about PRECISE tuning You think he just swapped numbers over from a different engine?

Because I make enough power as it is. Depending on the results of the spring time track visit I make, I'll get it tuned professionally.
