I have 2 Super 40's on the Delta.
Sounds good, I wanted to put 2 40's on my Alero, but the shop wouldn't touch that idea

well. looks like I would have to either get two of the super 40's, get one and split the pips, or get a 40 delta that has a single in and dual out both at 2.5"....

i would run 2 mufflers, i prob would have done it this time around if i had the money. but i think it could easliy be done in the future if i wanted it. of course if you run 2 mufflers, your going to have to consider the cost. i would say total to be around $380 w/o tips. if i were you go to the exhaust shop and tell them what you want, thats all i did.

this is how you run dual mufflers.......... you have to split the exhaust AFTER the rear wheels..... my tips were welded directly onto the muffler
driver side.....
passenger side.......

and those are flowmaster 40 series knock offs which sound almost identical to flowmasters.
i went with the duals because it gives you a deeper less raspy tone. i wasnt sure what dual 40s would sound like but since the 40 is supposed to be a deeper sound than the 80 i figured 2 40s would be even deeper. a single 40 will be abit more raspy. the 80 series (camaro) muffler drones like a mother effer on the highway. my setup doesnt drone on the highway and the only time its "loud" in the cabin is when im crusing at about 25mph. but its a deeper drone and sounds awsome to me so i dont mind it at all.
