And let's not forget the Corvette Brake upgrade.
I know Cliff has big front brakes, but IDK of anybody else who's done this yet.
I'm going to sticky a thread from GAGT on here now

That is true. BUT you have over 80,000 miles so DO NOT change to synthetic. It is not recommended to switch to synthetic after 40-45,000 miles. I switched when i was around 35, so im good. But just keep using regular oil now......its too late to switch

^^ I did the switch at about 62,000. I do have a small leak, but nothing too big.
I heard after 60K it's not good to switch

That leak will only get bigger over time 60k is a little risky if you ask me...Either way, he has high mileage and should not switch now. Start looking at high mileage oil......

I think there's 2 other people here who have the 12" brakes. In fact I'm working to get some adapter brackets made to be able to use real Corvette brakes. (choices of 12.8, 13.4 or 14.0 inch rotors) New thread on that soon.

132,xxx miles and the engine runs like new and the trans shifts like new also XP

false. i had a trusted mechanic tell me to use synthetic and only synthetic. my car had 93,000 miles on it when i bought it and at 109,000K its still leak free and doesn't burn any oil. he said that in any situation that synthetic is superior to conventional oil and that you don't have to worry about "sludge" or jelling of the oil if you use high quality synthetic. he said that its an urban legend that its bad to switch at higher mileage.

ok. so we'll go to the next set of senarios. when the car idles badly, is the service engine soon light blinking? that could mean you are experience a misfire. maybe one of your spark plug wires is loose. check them to make sure they're on tight. also, if your service engine soon light was on, it should have logged it in your car's computer and shown up on the scan even if the light was off at the time of the scan. who scanned it?
