This works best for me... Hopefully it will give me & my neighbour enough time to get the car on the road, and I can bring it this time instead of the coupe...

I would say probably between 11-6 would be the best time... not too early, and not too late...

Yes there are parking lots along the lakeshore. Not sure which one we'll pick though. Maybe if we get someone more familiar with the area.

Tdot suggested a parking lot on Lakeshore near Parklawn... said it is by the beach with a good shot of downtown in the back ground... there is also the CNE grounds if we can get in...

Weekends are always good for me. There are a couple of great spots out my way if you are trying for something a little closer to the border to draw some guys from the Northern States. Where I am is about dead middle between the US Border and Toronto.

from what i have read from a few of the US guys, border crossings are scarring them due to a couple members having their cars ripped apart and searched as they tried to cross... so as much as i would like to have them there, it is really up to them, and if we can centralize it in Toronto, i think we will have a better turn out of the local guys...

i posted this link on GAGT and there are a couple guys over there that are watching this thread to come and crash the alero party as they put it... lol... to which i say, the more the merrier!!

That is sad too. The two times Ive crossed into the US to visit I had the same feelings. Never had a real problem, other than my brother almost getting us arrested for taking pictures while crossing... lol... but that is another story. Having it in Toronto would be good for the scenery anyway for sure. Get a google map together when you guys have the spot. Sooner the better to get the best turn-out!

So I have until July 31st to get to work on my car. Thats about 3 weekends.
Next week sanding rust & painting, week after wax, week after 3500 UIM + Catback?

Reality? Probably 1/2 of these things will be done haha

That's why I put the date that late. Today I was thinking to do the alero meet sometime around the molson indy (don't know what it changed to). So we could meet up and then go to the molson indy after.

But you guys and me will want to fix up our cars, so july 31st is more than enough time for that.

I still have to get a battery, put on the headers, UIM/LIM, fix the gas leak, just to be able to drive... if I can't get that done, I will be bringing the coupe again...

Sorry I was out camping just got back last night.
Date is perfect for me, already booked it. Car is ready as well. Wife and the daughter is coming. I might bring my friend too. He has a Subaru, but he is always down for car g2gs.
The parking is actually south of Lakeshore, along Marine Parade Drive or better, at the end of Humber Bay Park Road. They have picnic tables and bbq pits.

^ Casper wrecked his Alero just before the last meet and has not been back on since then that I have seen... I agree that we do need more people this time...
