bridgestone potenzas 255/40/17s in the front and 235/45/17s in the rear, and I will have some kind of racing seat since I sold my stock seats.....lol......

Should be good enough for the start but not as sticky as some summer tires you could get.

Probably the most important thing for your first run is to walk the course many many times and walk it as if you were positioned in the car. I walk the course at least 5 times but most people walk it once and then end up taking 3-4 runs just to learn it and that takes the fun away. Enjoy

Hmm now that I think about it ... which potenza are we talking about the RE-11 or RE-050? RE-11 is an excellent excellent tire.

pretty sure the re-050, got them with 90% tread left for $100....so i couldn't pass it up.....

I guess so... the RE-11 is close to $250 each brand new.
