lol no not that kind of clearing, just the orange part so the silver continues from the back up lights to the turn signals. the red part is staying. then tinting the outside of the lenses a LITTLE bit.

you could cut vinyl patterns for the taillights and then tint over them and peel off. worked great for the headlights

Why is it that when I go to the junk yard those bastards never have anything for an alero? I must live in the worst part of the Country or something. You may find its not as easy as you think...like others have said only one or two people on here have actually done it and been successful. Good luck anyway though! I like the tail tinting way more than the clearing, but that is my opinion!

lol once again not clearing the whole assembly JUST the orange part! then tinting the actual outside of the lens. and there were only 2 aleros there today and the first one was pretty much stripped and the second one looked like it had just been put out like today or yesterday so got lucky there and it was a gls with the parts i was looking for...just luck.

If your going to tint the lens, why take out the orange part, it's just going to be covered anyways right?

not tinting it that dark, 2 or maybe 3 coats, very light. and if u read, i said if i can get the orange part removed the way i want then it will be silver. Follow? the back up light (silver reflecting surface) lines up with said orange part ( to be changed silver). ok? then with the turnsignal area now silver and matching the back up light area will be left untinted thus leaving the rest of the tail light tinted and not those 2 areas.
