Well I talked with a guy from DHP in a series of emails, and they said they would just send me a new one... talk about good customer service lol.
I hope this one works correctly, and that they dont put weird programming into it to screw me all up.... but anyway ill post something when i get it to let yall know how it went.

Ok...so...um....yeah..
K so i got another scanner on my car and wahlah it works... congratulations me! Then again my orginal PCM was flashed by the dude at DHP and is on its way back to me. In the end, idk what its problem was, but it seems to be working fine (no codes or pending ones) and now I dont want to change to another PCM even if it is flashed with the same stuff.
I escaped a case learn once i dont think ill have the same fortune again.
Oh well lol its been a fun week.

Its not like the car gained a billion Horsepower, but it feels a little different. Overall it is a tad faster, with the shifting being the biggest difference. Shifts seem a little faster with better transition in power... I dont know how to explain that lol.
Oh yeah, the speed limiter is removed, like anyone needs to go 110+ anyway.
Overall, I love it, especially for the price.

Thanks for the info man, and yea i know there arent gonna be HUGE gains, i was just wondering. I wanna get one, but the only thing stopping me is that i might have to go to the dealer to get something done, the reflash?? i dont remember what its called

the LAST thing you want from the dealer is a reflash. that would make your pcm stock again. there is chance it will need a CASE learn and or a security learn which is free since you do it yourself. mine never did either.

Updates
Ok so i popped the newest PCM in there, I am getting really good at taking them out and putting them back in, battery disconnect and all .
Anyway, it seems to me that the PCMs take a little while to "learn" the shift points and stuff, and it shifts just a little different then the other PCM I had prior, even when not at WOT.
Overall, no SES light or anything, ill take it to my mech to scan it in a day or two to make sure its running right.
In conclusion, I love these PCMs, and even if my car aint a mustang GT, it is slowly getting faster... slowly...

the tranny takes the longest to learn from what i have read. if you drive a little bit every day it should be all good and learned in 5-7 days.

So how likely is it that a Case learn is needed when doing this mod? And should I go to PFYC.COM for this or is there some where else I can go for cheaper? Any opinions? I only have a WAI with cold box I made myself ill prolly get ta thermostat if I get the PCM.
