from my previous research expect cost on 1 bar to be anywhere from 125-200 depending on the manufacturer and how quick they think they will be able to sell them..
in order to get a price set in stone we are going to need prospective manufacturers see that we (the Nbody community) have a real need and want for these bars and that they wont be wasting their time in having them made.

I am sure it cant hurt to ask... however I would say the chances arent that great considering how our luck has been so far with just getting the standard oversized bars made.
I certainly will look into it though

I bought the front sway bar on the last group buy and I am as happy as a Pig in Shit with how it performs. I might be interested in a rear depending on the final price.

I might be in as long as we don't have MPR as the middle man... we saw how the group buy went with the turbo headers.

Yea s&s ripped off everyone and closed shop and I am paying them all back out of my own pocket. So how was I or anyone else supposed to know what s&s was going to do? Also how is that my fault?
I have been serving this community for over 5 years now and the only issue to date is the ordeal with s&s. I dont recall you doing anything for the community in that time so as far as I'm concerned if you don't want in on this then that is your problem.

Well larger bar does not always = better handling on our cars as you probably want some independence side to side. The speedbuilt I believe was 28.6 F and 22.4 R... I would be happier with a thicker R like 29 F and 24R.
Also let's not bring up past blames as Mark is trying to help us get this done.
Could anyone post this on the grandamgt forum as it seems like their admin is ignoring my activation.
Cheers,

If anyone has a problem with Mark/MPRacing or anyone else acting as an intermediary, I will gladly volunteer my services.
There are many people here who I'm sure will vouch for my trustworthiness and character.
The Speedbuilt bars were 28.6mm F (1.125") and 22.2mm R (7/8"). The car is very neutral with both bars, and I'm happy to give "Oh, snot!" rides when the weather warms up here in northern IL.

question, what do you mean when it gives the car a neutral handling? does it mean whether it gives it more of an over-steer or under-steer?

He means it almost neither oversteers or understeers but it depends on your input too... I prefer a little oversteer... A FWD car with a loose ass is always fun.

Does anyone know how speedbuilt manufactured these? Is there a blue print?

I registered also, not to long ago, and no activation yet.
It would be nice to get some swaybars going again for the N-body community.

We need to:
1) Get more people show interest on the GrandAM side
2) Decide who the middle man would be. I'm fine with MP racing doing this but some people seem to be unhappy.
3) Send the orders and be patient.
If this doesn't take off, I'll either buy a 3 piece swaybar (less likely) or order through a custom sway bar builder I found. You send them the OEM sway bars and $200 and wait for 6 month ... they'll send you back a thicker version... I've seen a few pics of their work and it looks good.
