The clock is still ticking on my warranty... We'll have to see what happens after 11/17/11. Maybe a B207R swap if i can find one cheap.

For $6-10k, depending on how elaborate I would get, I'd be able to have a 700+hp eco motor.

the parts are out there. not sure about an EATON...but there are a few SC's out there for the eco, I'm sure. It's all a matter of where you look and how much you want to pay.

Ridiculous, everyone still thinks the 4T40E or F23 transmissions are weak. Most of these comments coming from guys with the 4T45E, a crappy one.
Adam Hahn runs 10s with the F23 with just clutch upgrades AFAIK.

Of course theres an eco s/c, you would just need a custom supercharger unit
youd pay but it would be fast

What are you talking about? The Ecotec supercharger kit is the most popular one... it uses almost the same setup as the Cobalt SS/SC...

If I didn't teach a handful of teenage girls, plus myself how to drive stick I'm sure my synchros would still be in one piece on my tranny.
Myself, Hahn Racecraft, and a few other guys proved that the F23 can survive power up over 440hp/tq quite nicely.

not bad. are you going to completely switch over to the LGO power steering? Good idea on the header rather than going with the HO exhaust manifold. Your head modification though could be smoothed up quite a bit. becareful on the porting there isn't much material in the ports of the 086 head. may I also recommend knife edging the runners.

So how come you have to switch to a different power steering system?

Because the twin-cam (and subsequently the ecotec) has a hex machined into the camshaft to drive the power steering pump. All the Quad4 motors (aside from the 95) use a pressed on pulley. So it's either use the old belt driven power steering or get the hex machined in.

Yeah...well I always wanted it since I've seen it...I like the design and the thickness. I got it from aftermathalero.
