Last night I was looking at the front end some more. The rectangular vents on either side of the licence plate are going to be filled in. I figured maybe I'd be able to sneak in a couple of round 2" lights, or fog lights, but photoshopping and just holding it over top, this looks right out to lunch, so, meh, we'll just say they're going. The small opening on the lower lip is going to be extended well out to the side. A small "fin" will be added along the lower lip as well going all the way around (as mentioned, this is going to be non functional, just there simply for looks).
As for the 3 main openings on the front, I'm not exactly too sure what I'll be doing with it. I was thinking of changing the shape of the two "pillars" or "posts", whatever one wants to call them, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. The outer ones will have a divider to provide air flow to the front wheel brakes. I figure that if I'm going to change some things around, may as well make it functional. This however, will cause the two side vents to either be made taller, or completely removed. The center vent, the main opening however, will be all rad cooling. That's it, nothing more. I was tossing around the idea of a logo on the front center of it, but yeah, that's not going to happen.
The side skirts are mapped out as to how they're going to be changed up. As mentioned, I was fairly disappointed in the quality of them, but, eh, it's nothing that can't be fixed.
The spoiler is going along well. I did manage to weld up the metal sub assembly that would be going inside of it. Nice. Too bad it wont be seen. Some of my best welding (read: it was 6 welds, each 1 inch long... )
When it comes to the hood, still in the drawing phase, and I haven't looked at the side scoops, rear bumper, roof scoop or front fenders yet.

By the way, the paint scheme's been decided, I'll have some sketches up sometime this weekend... let's say, racey, not ricey, but racey...

All the design work for the new cooland and windshield wiper fluid containers is done up as well. Those sketches will be up soon as well. Likely tomorrow. Tonight, I'm just going to pull myself under the radar, and keep a low profile.

Hey all... as per, the job takes priority right? Even when it suddenly says "HEY! What's up! Get your kit"... well, I'm back out of the field, in the office most of the day, once I'm home, I'll scan in and post the images... a couple are the sketches of the new tanks as I mentioned, and one is a half coloured sketch of what I would like the front end to look like once I'm done. It's somewhat comical, HOWEVER, looks much, MUCH better in the dummied up model...
yeah, had nothing to do really, so I started shaping the mold a little more for the front end...
