Underbody Neons in winter

i have had my neons for a year. they went through last winter, and all summer and here comes winter again. never had a problem. i turn them on all the time during winter, blue looks cool on white snow. people always tell me " ohh neons will break under your car, they wont last" people are dumb. i installed myself and never had a problem

again...for the last time...if they are hidden right...which you dont want to see the damn lights anyways....they shouldnt break.
