Shaft movement, I showed it to them today. Throttle plate can be moved up and down like crazy when it turns. There should be something to prevent such movement. Unfortunately they're really busy and it will cost some time to even see if they can fix it. The plate will probably have to be custom cut, depending on the bolt spacing.

One suggestion was to upgrade to the 75mm LS1 throttle body since that would be probably cheaper (I dunno what they go for though).

throttle body itself has a problem allowing shaft play (i think that metal ring as seen in my j-body post from 2008) so it won't be as simple as just replacing the plate (assuming it's got the right bolt spacing and diameter I need to fit without issue)

so i'll probably just switch to the 75mm LS1 one since they can be had for cheap. the only thing i need to find out is how to connect my throttle cable to it

I bought a stock one from a junkyard yesterday because both of my spare ones are gone. I put it on but the car doesn't stay running, lol. I forgot to bring my laptop to my parents' house where I installed the TB.

So today I'm bringing my laptop and I have to edit the tune a bit for the smaller throttle body, and it should be good. I just need something to work temporarily.

Going to buy an LS1 throttle body off a member on LS1Tech and then weld a new flange to my intake manifold and use that soon.

Look at that gap on the 62mm TB. I could fix the shaft play problem pretty easily, but getting a new plate is the only trouble. Anyone want it?
