If there are a bunch of people in one area I can rent a truck and make a delivery run to that area.

i doubt there will be enough in this direction (southern part of Indiana), but you know what I do like, is your willing at all costs to be sure everyone can get in on this deal, and I applaud u, thats why no matter how tight my money is im staying in cause its a great deal and the more people, possibly a little cheaper and cant let your work go to waste!

Crazy, maybe you can strap my hood to one of the Chicago guy's hoods, I'd drive up there for that.
Driving 400miles with no hood on a car might look a bit funny, but oh well.

Hell yeah, that would work.
Seeing as I'm back in St. Louis full time now, and really not in the best physical shape to drive that far myself.

Since I didn't follow this, as I wasn't interrested in a CF hood...
What year is this off of? The '99s don't have hood props, and my '01 does, so I'm wondering if I'd be able to prop up the hood or if I'd have to get my car fitted up like a '99?
Thanks

This is a hood prop hood. If you don't have one you will need to get one. I will get a hold of the part number and supply that for those that will need that.

It could be done, but I don't have access to a truck to haul it back to my house.
BTW my dad's gonna freak out about that size <_<

^^ I won't be able to have more than 1 hood delivered here. I talked to my mom about it and she freaked and doesn't want me to get it done <_<
Althought, that isn't stopping me, I have 2 options.
My mech or the local body shop. I can get the hood painted, go back, get them swapped, and put the stock hood in my storage locker h34r:
Bdyman is the poislh ninja, I am the Philly ninja h34r:
The good part about that is my mom won't really notice a 2 inch cowl. If it was a 6 inch, I'd get bitched at

Hey crazy is this a one time deal, or are they gonna be produced continuiously
Cuz i know i don't have an alero anymore
But i am considerin goin to the local auction and pickin up another one next spring.
Cuz it'll be 2005 then and i'll be able to buy a 99 with high miles for next to nothing.
and just start from scratch, and not have to worry about havin it for a daily driver.
and if i do that i'll definatly wanna throw down on onea ur hoods

Find a nice sunny day and take your hood off then drive up here and we can put the new one on for you. If you need to get it painted you can always switch them out again.. It may be too much trouble but I am just trying to save myself a buck or two. It sux you dont have a place to hold the hood for 24hrs or so till i could get down there.

what color is your car? i think it'll look better if left as CF, otherwise you might as well get the fiberglass version.
