chris everything we use has isocyanates!! i use one when i paint and when i have allot of bondo to do, and welding in the i-car class the gas causes alhetzimers<spelled wrong>

bottom line what i do for a living is very dangerous, and i have seen people pass out, get knocked out from a frame rack chain, one guy is paralyized from neck down!!!!

so apprentices protect your body

I think you need a significant amount... but its not an all or nothing system. Your body will fight it as long as it can, but if you notice your breathing getting worse, or harder, as you do more labor (under exertion) then there definitely IS damage done.

The hard part of the diagnosis is... its frequent for laborers to smoke.... so which is causing more damage? If you quit smoking, your lungs will generally heal over time (not fully, but a significant amount can) isocyanate damage WILL NOT heal.
