I think it looks sweet on Muscle cars and on hot rods but on a alero the color just doesn't suit it.

My brother is getting stationed on Fort Carson and wants me to move in with him and I might take some classes at a University there. And plus I used to live there when I was younger. Like 6 or 7. I like snow. Lawl.

I've always wanted to do a satin finish ever since I saw an STI done in the factory sube blue, but I've always been told you can never use wax on it to protect the finish after that. Don't know, not a paint expert. But I can say that satin black looks balls-out on that Camaro, but I have my doubts about the Alero. It would need a very specific trim to go with it, like wheels etc. I don't like the way pimp's looked with the rims he had on it, but I think it could look good with some street-rod style rims (foose or billet specialties come to mind) rather than "bling" rims. Let us know how it turns out.

And no offense to you bdyman, but eff you. I can paint. And in my opion, your alero looked horrible. Everyone has their opinions and I think if yours isn't good, then keep it to yourself. I can give a shit about your negative comments. Especially when they don't contribute to anything. I asked what people thought about the color. Not how good bdyman thought i'd do it. And I've sent you two pm's before asking what would be a smarter way to install a side skirt. You never had any input when I needed some help, only Ion did, so I don't need your input. A real tech would give someone the chance to learn instead of talking shit. But I forgot, you were born with that talent. You didn't have to learn anything, huh?

Running or watching? Lol. But I guess that's a dumb question. You're talking about the one in Denver or Morrison?

Well I don't mean to get anything started with that. Just saying that if someone has opinions about something, and they're not good, then keep them to yourself. I'm sure he is a great person and probably great at what he does. But I don't need him telling me that my work is gonna look like shit just because I'm not as "great" as him. Though a horrible choice of color, I painted the blue on my car perfect. No runs or anything. I hope the black will be the same way. Well anywho. Anyone got black trim around the windows? Lol.

Yea definitely. I think a gloss black would really set off the hot rod black.

You don't know anything about what your talking about. I'm talking about when I sprayed the whole car. When I rattle canned the bumper, it didn't stay like that but for two days. Until I could get more paint for my gun. And I never claimed to be a real body man, did I?
