i just got back home (well like 2 hrs ago)

my catalytic converter died on the way to the show, was over boosting, exhaust pressure was backing up like crazy. wanted to boost instantly.

i went to pass someone and the boost SPIKED extremely quickly, i saw 15 PSI and i let off ASAP. i freaked out. car ran like shit. replaced the spark plugs a while after i got to ASS, didn't fix it. decided the symptoms seemed like the cat (smelled like rotten eggs/raw fuel for quite a while now), went to a few auto places that wanted $200-500 for one installed, so Cliff and I went to autozone and got one for like $68 and had it welded up for $60, and it solved all my problems.

when the old cat was cut off like four chunks of stuff fell out of it lol, it was definitely bad.. got a 2.5" in/out universal kitty for the future exhaust upgrade

i don't think it was that it's boosted, it's that it had 183,500 miles on it.

no lol the spare engine and all the parts to go in are sitting around here waiting for me to have money to have it all put together
