You guys are talking like the exhaust system will be connected to the rounded triangle exits in the rear of the bumper. The image you posted shows that the real OSV's exhaust ended before the metal triangle center exit "exhaust tips"

yes the "real" OSV did but for a real world application I would feel better knowing the end of the line for the exhaust is out the back bumper and not under my kids arses

um "under your kids arse?" dood those tips are maybe 3" from the cutouts, so even worse case scenario they end at the very edge of your trunk. Under your back seats is your gas tank if thats any consolation

I never thought or said the exhaust was connected to the tips, that's why I was confused at first with you statement the way it was worded. Remember that the OSV was a concept and didn't have to really follow laws or such. I personally would like it if the exhaust exited all the way out beyond the bumper but if it would be cheaper to do it like the concept then that is fine by me.
I will say that we haven't even got the kit buy together and all questions answered and you guys are worried about the exhaust tips. I would think that any decent sheet metal guy could easily reproduce the tips. They could even be done in aluminum which I would prefer. They don't have to be exactly like the OSV to the exact detail.

Ya I know...I said that for dramatic effect but still I would like to see it exit completly from under the car.

FYI people..................Borla did the exhaust on the 01 OSV (pictures i have, yes)
for those of you who are crying about redoing your exhaust need to use your brain and figure out that you are not using your brain.
