damn dude ... this project has come a long way in a short time and I definitely have to give you props for tackling something that you didn't have any real experience with until you had it completed.

Keep up the great work.

Thanks a lot. Much appreciated.

Tonight, tonights a night for relaxing. In the next couple days I'm taking a course from Lockheed Martin (love being a gunner of types). So, its on hold until Easter weekend.

The plan, as it stands, is come Thursday night, I'll be posting links to pictures of the finished kick panels... heck, I might finish one completely tonight. Otherwise, I want to fiberglass the A-Pilars, and begin redoing the door panel. I'm going to begin with the one on the Pass. side.
Only issue, I need to come in and talk to the guy who is doing the speaker install so I know where to and where not to Fiberglass... I'm thinking to just do it, and he'll cut where is necessary.

I'm giving myself about 2 weeks on the door panels, as I'll only be working after work and on weekends...

OH! And I picked up trimming - chord - for everything, so I'll also be slowly working over that... measured out what I needed to trim ahead of time... 12 meters so far... shit...

Man... that is one sexy interior... after my turbo install and such I may just do what you're doing and replace everything... although I'll get the fabric done professionally... probably do the rest myself though... and cav, that would be an awesome idea with the olds symbol and alero lighting up at night...
You could have that in the middle of the two back racing seats, in the fiberglass between two subs, lighting up to the music xD probably have some plexiglass right behind them and after that... the leds

Ahhhh, good news... I have a new garage to work out of... was more than welcomed in at the car club here on base. Pretty slick... full stand alone paint/prep building (VERY nice), and an 8 bay garage for everything else. My god... it's a modders heaven.

And with that, I add that starting tomorrow, I'll be in there tinkering around, SO, unlike I previously feared... there is no longer a cause for any pause in progress on this project - minus the military schedule, eh Pawz?

This is good. I'm happy. Now, instead of driving to Wendy's for a late night craving, I just drive 2 minutes into a garage and tinker around... Expect pics sometime tomorrow night.

Got into the garage tonight... a few things happened... finished one of the kick panels. Got the 'cover' for the steering wheel cover prepped and ready for fiberglassing tomorrow. Made the rough cut in the A-Pilar on the drivers side - this is where 8 of the indicator lights from the dash will be going. Tried a new paint out, I like it - this will be the same paint used on the other fiberglassed pieces going down the middle in the back. Here are the links to the pics:

kick panel - http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...kickpanels.jpg
rough cut - http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...a/roughcut.jpg
prepped cover - http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...ha/prepped.jpg
new colour one - http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u.../newcolour.jpg
new colour two - http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...newcolour2.jpg

Tomorrow, fiberglassing the A-Pilars, the same cover seen, mapping out the interior, and finishing off the other kick panel. In the afternoon, I'll likely being constructing the top cover for the back of the interior's sub-assembly. That ought to be fun.

Edge.
