^ I think that's an excellent idea. B) You can always paint them, then tint the amber part so it's not so amber.

yeah and i posted a while back, of how to paint the amber. and i asked how to remove the tailights, so i could paint the inside, but everyone just told me to paint the outside, and no one knew how to take the tails apart but ander. i mean i have the paint just sittin in my garage.

Well, it would be way easier to paint the outside. You could just apply tint to the whole thing, then lay the paint right over it with your designs masked off. No way I'm messing with taking them apart when I do mine.

Yeah. There would be from painting a design anyway. It won't be all that noticable with a clear coat.
It's up to you, if you want you can pry your tails apart.

exactly...why are you so gun-ho on doing something with the tail lights. If you don't like the way they look, don't cover them up. Your going to be more frustrated with it then. And by the sounds of it (I might be wrong) you don't know what your doing, so A; you'll prolly screw it up or B: pay someone to do it. My 2 cents again, leave them alond or have anderbra make you a custom set of tails.

i cant have anderbra do it right now, i dont have 300$, i just wanted to do somethign different, and temporary, considering painting the tail lights with an enamal, paint thinner can remove the paint.
