i didn't notice a difference on the alero, from a dead stop, or kickdown. they did it on 4t80e's for towing.....

If he had a 4T80E yeah 4.0L v-8, because the 3.5L v-6 aurora came with a 4t65e.

yep...it was a 95 with the autobahn package (more aggressive gearing). i loved kicking that thing down at like 25mph, and screaching the tires at like 35
