Got my keys "fixed" last week. Asked about the tumbler and they said my car wasn't on the tumbler list, I told them I replaced the tumbler back in 2006 when my Alero stumbled and stalled at 60 mph.

If I happen to be near a GM dealer anyway and thy for some reason want to look at the car to verify the VIN and mileage, I'd be OK with that, but they are not taking the car into a service bay to potentially eff it up.

I replaced the electrical part of the ignition switch and consider this to be a permanent fix.
